Baskets

Many traditional baskets are woven from Ilala Palm by the South African Zulu tribes. The women are the primary weavers and its a great source of income for the families. The designs are varied and colours are introduced by using natural dyes. The bowls, canisters and containers provide a special gift from Africa. The kiaat wood baskets are hand carved with African animals and vary in size and most often are completed with carved lids.
